2021年，广美-威尔士艺术与设计国际学院正式成立，两校借助此平台开展海外艺术设计学术交流，相互输送和培养本科、研究生及博士阶段人才，共同搭建一个华南地区中英艺术设计培训基地。广美-威尔士国际学院目的是为了切实地推进广州美术学院和英国高等艺术学府的海外合作和国际化进程，并达到深层次学术交流和可持续性发展。

UWTSD-GAFA INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN was officially established in 2021. The two universities will conduct overseas academic exchanges in art and design through the International College, exchange and jointly cultivate talents from bachelor, master to doctoral levels, to jointly build a Sino-British art design training base in South China. The purpose of the International College is to promote the overseas cooperation and internationalization between GAFA and UWTSD, and to achieve deep academic exchanges and sustainable development.
